Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 November 2026

These terms cover your use of Locus (locusmaths.com). By using Locus, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Locus is

Locus is a free online revision tool for A-level Maths and Further Maths (with more to come). It is provided to help you study. You can use it as a guest or create a free account to save and sync your progress.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your login details secure and do not share them. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Please use a real email address so you can recover access and we can reach you if needed. One account is for one person.

Acceptable use

Please use Locus for your own learning. You agree not to:

No guarantee of results

Locus is a study aid, not a substitute for your course, your teacher, or the official exam specifications. We work hard to keep the content accurate and original, but we cannot guarantee it is free of errors, and we cannot guarantee any particular exam grade or outcome. Always check anything important against your official specification and your teacher.

Our content

The questions, explanations, design and other content in Locus are ours (or used with permission). You may use them for your own personal study. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, sell, or use them commercially without our permission.

Availability

Locus is a free service, provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause, or withdraw features at any time, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We are not liable for any downtime or loss of saved data, though we take reasonable care to look after it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, Locus. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update Locus and these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed. Continuing to use Locus after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
